ADM (ret.) John. M Richardson
31st Chief of Naval Operations
​
John Michael Richardson (born April 8, 1960) is a retired four-star admiral in the United States Navy who previously served as the 31st Chief of Naval Operations. He served as the Director of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program from November 2, 2012 to August 14, 2015. While serving as Director of Naval Nuclear Propulsion (itself a joint Department of Energy and Department of Navy organization), Richardson was responsible for the command and safe, reliable operation of the United States Navy's nuclear propulsion program and for all the current United States naval reactors deployed for usage as well as all facilities needed to ensure safe operations. On May 13, 2015, United States Secretary of Defense, Ashton Carter, announced Richardson's nomination to succeed Admiral Jonathan Greenert as Chief of Naval Operations. Richardson served as the 31st Chief of Naval Operations from September 18, 2015 to August 22, 2019. On October 25, 2019, Boeing announced that Richardson had been elected to its Board of Directors as a member of the Aerospace Safety Committee and the Special Programs Committee.
CAPT Emily Bassett, USN
CNAP Force Nuclear Propulsion Officer, det Bremerton.

CAPT Emily Bassett is a Surface Warfare Officer, Nuclear Engineer. She commanded USS Manchester (LCS 14), served as the Reactor Officer of USS Ford (CVN 78), and earned a Master’s in Spanish as an Olmsted Scholar in Cadiz, Spain. She is a Boston University NROTC graduate and lives in her hometown Seattle with her husband and two children. She serves as CNAP Force Nuclear Propulsion Officer, det Bremerton, and enjoys her commute to the shipyard by ferry and bike.

After CAPT Bassett co-presents our keynote with ADM Richardson, she will offer this “follow up” seminar with practical application and dialogue getting after HOW we adapt ourselves, our surroundings, and those whom we lead to find our “best fit."
VADM Kelly A. Aeschbach
Commander, Naval Information Forces
​
Kelly A. Aeschbach is a vice admiral in the United States Navy who currently serves as the commander of U.S. Naval Information Forces(NAVIFOR). Before that, she served as Director of the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office and Commander of the Office of Naval Intelligence. and prior to that as Deputy Director of Intelligence for United States Forces – Afghanistan.

Aeschbach has participated in several military operations during her service, including Patrol Squadron (VP) 6, where she was deployed to Adak, Alaska, and Okinawa, Japan. She also served on Amphibious Squadron 1, where she was deployed to the Western Pacific and the Persian Gulf. She also participated in Operation Enduring Freedom, the official U.S. government name for the Global War on Terrorism, with Carrier Strike Group 9, and Headquarters, Resolute Support, Afghanistan.

Her ashore assignments have included Joint Intelligence Center Pacific in Aiea, Hawaii; Tactical Training Group Pacific in San Diego; Naval Personnel Command in Millington, Tennessee; U.S. Naval Forces Europe in London; U.S. Special Operations Command in Tampa, Florida. She also served as a military fellow at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in McLean, Virginia, in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations staff at the Pentagon, and Naval Information Forces in Suffolk, Virginia.
